Health & Safety on fire protection projects
Health and safety is at the core of what we do and demonstrating our commitment to health and safety is a significant criteria in many of the accreditations we hold. Our aim is to minimise the instances of occupational accidents and ultimately achieve an accident-free workplace.
Training
Mandatory H&S training is essential for any construction company. As part of our commitment to a skilled team our operatives have CSCS certification to demonstrate their competence and their understanding of health and safety on construction sites. In addition to this, many of our operatives have SMSTS, SSSTS, IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness and First Aid, with additional role-specific training for supervisors. Our ongoing training programme enables operatives and supervisors to achieve further qualifications including FIRAS accreditation and NVQs.
FIRAS
We are a FIRAS certified company, confirming that we demonstrate compliance with industry standards and product manufacturer installation instructions to assure clients that the fire protection installed is correct to specification and will afford the required fire protection. To achieve certification operatives are assessed on site and must demonstrate competence and experience in identifying the most efficient fire protection solution and completing effective installation.
